- Known also as ruby red crazy lace agate for its dramatic ruby red color, accentuated by fuchsia hues in eye-catching tone-on-tone patterns, punctuated with retro-orange banding.
- Predominantly colorfast, however, because this type of agate is particularly difficult to dye, small amounts of color may occasionally collect in naturally occurring grooves or surface voids giving a beautiful natural effect.
